The 2-way component kit ASE 165 delivers neutral and dynamic sound, precise treble and an improved soundstage thanks to its 6 1/2� (16.5cm) woofer with Polypropylene cone and adjustable, mylar inverted dome tweeter. Offering plenty of installation options, ASE 165 can be linked with other electronics or directly connected to the vehicle�s original amplifier. The tweeters can be mounted directly in the A-pillars or positioned in the vehicle's original locations. EASY AND MULTIPLE MOUNTING OPTIONS
The woofers can be either surface-mounted (grill provided) or installed in the vehicle's original locations. The inverted dome tweeters are delivered with brackets for surface or �flush� mounting. The tweeter can also be removed from its flush support if you want to install it in the original tweeter�s location.
DESIGN
The steel basket of the speaker driver is rigid and durable. The flat grilles supplied, in ABS and Mesh, are just as good-looking as they are inherent in the kit's performance. Finally, the black lacquer finish on the tweeter means it assimilates seamlessly into the cabin of all modern vehicles.
